This Band Started from the Relationship between the two founding members Lenny & Lisa that had a dream and decided to make it a reality, with Lenny being Lead guitarist and Lisa on Vocals back in 2012 it was then that they got a hold of some of their awesome musical friends Des on Bass, Brian on Drums, ( who were very well known for their awesome talents among the local music scene) and a good friend of Lenny and Lisas Tim on 2nd Guitar that was interested and formed this band. They also all had an interest in helping to keep the Music scene out of the dark for their local area (along with other local bands )

Now as with all bands when they start out, HELLS WINTER is no stranger and has seen its share of starts and stops, ups and downs, while trying to get off the ground, They have had different members from 2012 up to 2015 with only Lenny and Lisa staying permanent, they had to let go of Tim, and Brian early on and recruted James a legend, and very well known and astablished drummer in their local music scene and so it was still a foursome Lenny, Lisa , Des,and James until July-August of 2015 it was then they made a tough descion along with Des that he had to persue his acomplishments with his other band that he had receantly joined and was making a firm foothold in and soon after in August of 2015 James had to make a hard dicision in his personal life to move down south, it was hard and sad to say goodbye and to lose both of them but understandably for the best in their personal lives.

And so the search was on for new members and they fell into some luck by aquiring Rick not to long after James departed and they started out again as a threesome looking for a bassist throughout the early half of 2016 then in late October of the same year they broke onto the music scene with just the 3 members Lisa on vocals Lenny on Guitar, and Rick on drums in the form of a highschool project that Lisas daughter was doing for her 12th grade homework they put together a benefit to raise awareness for the prevention of Suicide they had other local bands join them and did raise some money from it and gave the proceeds to the Mental Health Association.

Soon after they acquired Jimmy on Bass and beginning in January thru October 2017 they began playing shows in the local area with Early October at a Battle of the Bands being the 2nd to the last show they did with Jimmy as their Bassist so he could continue on his endeavor with his other established band, a very good friend of theirs Mark (another legendary Bassist of the music scene) came to their aid and helped out for their last show in October , but could not stay permanently due to his many other obligations.

Since that time they Lisa, Lenny and Rick have remained vigilant in practicing their songs and coming up with new ones as they searched for a new Bass Player throughout the end of 2017 and in 2018 they came into some more good luck in early February by having another great friend Mark who is yet another Legend in the surrounding music scene and a guitarist extrordinare and a accompilshed Bassist himself answer their want add for a member and so they became a foursome once again with mark picking up the songs at a great pace and then they becamed surprised when another close friend Gary whome they had planned to add from the beginning but wasnt availible at the time and who also ran in the music circut for a while and played with Lenny in previous bands back in the early days suddenly reached out to them after a long hiatus from the scene to join up with them and he also brought with him his friend and old bandmate Michael who is a very accomplished Keyboardist. But unfortunatly that was short lived too as both Gary and Mike found that some personal issues had to be delt with first and so he had to bow out after only being in the band 2 months and playing one show!

And so now HELLS WINTER with the current lineup of 4 that you see now and they are working together diligently to keep their music fresh Throughout the years no matter how many member lineups they have gone through they all have kept a very close friendship with each other and a love for putting their musicals tastes together to create great music and have a good time so they can once again hit the stage and do what they love doing, playing for a crowd of music loving fans.

Yes have been around for over 5 yrs, but have only played out for a year1/2 now, and our best memory was just recently opening up for Saliva back in April of this yr

all the hair bands of the 80s ... motley Crue, Ozzy, Dokken, KISS, Poison ect...

Line 6 heads, and cabs. gibson, Jackson, and Ibanez guitars along with Tama drums and sure mics
