Grimme D
Born in Toronto, July 31, 1986. A Leo, to a family with a musical background naturally in the blood line, it was only a matter of time before I would become involved. Drums, the first instrument I ever owned and tried to master. I took lessons and became very involved in the music community forming my first band in grade 5. I don't think I can count how many bands I became a part of but it was all worth it and a great learning experience. I later became more involved with music production and recording at first trying to figure it all out by experimenting but eventually taking a music production course. The production side started taking over the band side of things as my attention shifted to recording artist demos and making beats for friends which later I joined forces with to form the group M-WAY. M-WAY went on to release a demo and start live performances leading to opening for Russell Peters, Frank and Dank, Matthew Good Band at Frosh week. M-WAY dissolved leaving the two original members to form our own project called MAKH 3. MAKH 3 launched an official demo which was sold at universities in Toronto and by street distribution in New York and Australia with also an array of online and unreleased tracks not on a formal album. Today my focus sits primarily on music production and beats, no matter what has happened and what has changed, one thing that still remains is the music.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Done a few live gigs ranging from outdoor events to clubs. Some of the best includes Center of Gravity - Kelowna B.C. Canada and Frosh week at Canada's Wonderland - opening for Russell Peters. I also played drums for several bands with a ton of live presence.
