Generation 911
Generation 911, formerly known as ATG, originally started with rapper Dtox and singer Liz O in 2006. DJ Carolyn Bolin joined the group in December 2007. In February 2008, they met up with rapper/producer Dop Vigor, and he joined the group a few months later. With shows at LA hot spots like Area & Privelege, along with the Roxy, The Derby, The Plush Lounge, and Basque, they were more than prepared when opening up for Shwayze, Cisco Adler and Tyga at the Crash Mansion, Twista at the Key Club and Numbskull at the Knitting Factory. They now have two songs in the hilarious comedy Ping Pong Playa, as well as two songs featured on the soundtrack, out now on Lakeshore Records. They are also working hand in hand with mega producer Duane Darock. The music and the chemistry has stayed consistent through the years and is now better than ever. Though the group has been through different lineups along the way, Dop Vigor, Lil Liz O, Dj Carolyn Bolin and Dtox might now be the perfect formula to earn them a spot in the ever changing hip hop game.
