I've played in clubs, coffee houses, street corners, garden parties, kindergartens and college campuses off and on since the Summer of Love.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I don't play out much anymore but it's not out of the question.
Your musical influences
I have had many influences, mostly guitarists, including Chet Atkins, John Renbourn, Jimi Hendrix, and my Uncle Wilbert Leppanen.
What equipment do you use?
My first guitar had a cowboy painted on it. I had a '61 Gibson Les Paul Custom that I traded for my B-25 acoustic during the folk music scare of '68. I also play one of my handmade Peterson acoustics and a Godin electric. But my new Gibson J-45 Custom Amber Burst inspired me to record this latest album.
