My name is Tim and this is my longest running music page.
I decided to leave up old songs to show what I have been up to the last 10 yrs or so.
In 2009 , I performed over 100 times as a full time musician. Things are moving forward after years of work with Minor Dischord (original groove rock band) and my new variety band (the 209 All Stars).

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
After being a casual musician for years , developing his own style of playing and writing , Tim has really found his calling. The last two years , he has played approx 200 gigs around NorCal meeting many musicians (the wise elders and hungry young).
Since moving to California in 2002 , he immediately helped form Minor Dischord (a groove rock band from Stockton CA) and they have been featured live on TV and radio programs in the Sacramento , Stockton and Modesto areas in addition to many shows from clubs to festivals.
This has led to other video programs in Berkeley , Sacramento , Stockton and Modesto and hundreds of shows throughout northern CA.
In 2008 FunkyTim formed "the 209 All Stars" , a collection of talented musicians , to play a diverse mix of popular modern and classic music. This band is anything but typical when it comes to song selection and our energetic live shows. Their open arms invitations to their many musical friends to join them on stage has won many fans and clients.
