FIRE FEST is a retreat designed to engage the Christian Hip Hop Community and Culture in open honest conversation on their knowledge of the music industry, their ability to network effectively, their outlook on ministry, as well as their personal development and spiritual enrichment. This Two (2) Day event will educate our Christian Hip Hop Artist while encouraging the next generation of youth to fight the good fight of Faith.Band/artist history
Fire Fest is the vision of Chuck Onley aka King C, to reach the International Community of Holy Hip Hop artists and ministers with a message of encouragement, enrichment, education and unity. This vision was brought to pass in April of 2008 when His pastors, Dr. Alexander & Clarissa Arthur hosted the first Fire Fest Artist Retreat and Awards Showcase at Word of Life Christian Center in Nashville, TN.
Fire Fest events soon spread across the region with other events being held in Memphis, TN, Atlanta, GA & a second event that same year, being held in Nashville, TN.
Fire Fest triggered a move of God, like such has not been seen in the realm of Holy Hip Hop. This event has spawn a new vision for growth in the gospel rap community and released a God sent CHANGE reaching to the hearts of His People. Returning the ministering of the Gospel back to reaching the souls of men for God's Glory, not for the gold of men.
