Face Dada, former member of the group OD, is stepping into the spotlight to embark on his solo career with three new hard-hitting tracks: "Hustlin' So Long", "YOU" & "Letter To My Ex".
The Jamaican native and current Harlem resident isn't a stranger to the industry. Face has been featured on Chubby Checker and OD's Limbo Rock remixes & Original Master of the Dance Hall Beat; which peaked at No. 1 Billboard in 2003. Face can also be heard on the 2007 hit song; "Knock Down the Walls" with Legendary Chubby Checker. "Knock Down The Walls" also hit No. 1 on two separate Billboard Charts. He is also featured on Chubby Checker's SONY release All The Best (LP).
"Hustlin' So Long" showcases Face's raw natural talent, lyrical skills and passion for music. This autobiographical song features: Shawn J. (singer, songwriter and producer for Sheila Raye Charles & Kevin L.), The Missing ;link & Paul "SEQUENCE" Ferguson.
The track "YOU" is a tribute to 'The One'. For every man who has loved a woman and had her doubt his true intentions, this song is for you. Face brings to life what every man wants to say and what every woman wants to hear. "YOU" was composed by multi-platinum producer Tony Kurtis; who also produced for The Temptations on the album Phoenix Rising.
"Letter To My Ex" is a realistic depiction of how most men feel towards an ex-girlfriend or ex-wife who treated them wrong during their relationship. It's heartfelt & straightforward yet rough at the same time. Production of this song was made possible by The Fluu, who has also done remixes for Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails and many other platinum artists.
