Ramalho) began making freestyle mix tapes in 1996 , with my long time friend Jeff J-Dollas Pope , We wound free for hours at a time honing the craft , as years past I started to produce beats and j-dollas excelled at mastering , after a brief split We started a indie label , Brass Knuxx Ent initually hot to death the crew split after a few short years . I still continue to strive for My place in the sun . while most of the founding members are conflicted about even making music . see this industry is not for everyone , you must have a strong will and be ready for challenges .
