Eli Thomas
Martin Elliott is 'ELI Thomas". Martin is currently a one man band creating music under the guidence of God's Holy Spirit. The heart & soul of the Eli Thomas band is to reach people through the message of God's unrelenting & undying love & grace towards us all. Set free by this grace from 22 years of drug, alcohol & sexual addictions, Martin is now living his life in recovery of 12 years. It took 25 years of being unfulfilled in the rock'n'roll music industry for God to grab ahold of Martin & shake him to the core of his soul. God has given Martin 'a new song to sing' which speaks of hope, love & life through Jesus. Martin's desire is to create music which appeals to the hurting, despairing lost souls bringing to them God's ultimate gift of life.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Martin began playing in bands during the 70's through being self taught guitarist. He has been involved in developing a unique sound with several different bands. Martin played in the local Seattle music scene for 25 years gaining major label interest . Music is Martin's God given talent & although very good at what he does every time a band which he was involved with was on the brink of being signed by a label, God would in some way cause the band to fall apart before this ever happened. This act of "disguised" mercy kept Martin alive & brought him to his knees before his LORD. As a recovering addict Martin loves to share his past lack of hope & love & how God has changed his life by healing his heart & soul by setting him free of addictions. God's mandate to all of his children to take God's love, grace & the ultimate gift of His son Jesus to everyone.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Martin is currently in studio working on his latest demo & is seeking band members. He is available for solo performances. Martin has recently been playing in local churches & worship teams. Martin is most fulfilled when sharing his music live with an audience, he loves nothing more than to share his life story of God's grace in his life. Martin & the love of his life, his beautiful wife Katrina are a team which are lead by God's Spirit to share with audiences how God has delivered them both out of a life of heartache & addiction & replaced all things that our enemy Satan meant to kill, steal & destroy their lives with an abundant life of love, joy, hope & happiness in Jesus. Martin & Katrina are compelled to bring the message that God's grace is extended to everyone whether we have yet to meet our LORD & Savior or if we are Christians struggling with being saved by grace but still battling with unwanted imprissioning sin in our lives.

Ephesians 2:8-10
" For it is by grace you have been saved through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works so that none can boast. For we are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do.
