My name is Eric Thomas-Hill, I've played guitar going on about eight years now. I took lessons shortly when I was a young teenager and found I wasn't learning anything, so I started teaching myself and learning what I could from others. I've been in other bands before, but I have decided to go ahead and try my own thing. My favorite style is just sitting down and making the guitar sound good. I like to orchestrate the moment.Have you performed in front of an audience?Open mics and such thus far. Not much of a scene (yet) where I currently live.

Don't let your meat loaf.Yeah, I bet that there's very little community activity for musicians in Whitefish! There might be some regional events like a summer fest or a winter event. But, then, that takes a lot to break into, doesn't it?
I'm near Missoula, but its a good drive from here. Almost an hour depending on traffic. That's not easy for an evening out, on a regular basis.
Hamilton is closer, but the bar scene is still pretty limited.
Great that there's the whole on-line musical scene. SoundClick is a good resource, as are many others that I am finding.
Have you heard of the Acoustic Guitar magazine? They've got a community online. There are others, too. Check out the various links / banners I am posting on my MySpace page, in the 'left' column. Some are better than others. My page is at: http://myspace.com/tomashood
I play progressive rock, and other stuff, too. I'll be working on getting a few of those tracks on here. My ReverbNation playlist is on the MySpace page, so you caAll comments (2)

I enjoy the easy flow of this song. It is not cluttered with too much activity so the backing rythm guitar is clear and solid, while the leads float nicely amid the atmosphere created by strumming guitar.
