Song: Nocturne 2 No. 1
at times i loved the vocal passionately (when it was bryan ferry-ish)and at others not so much (when it was more lounge singer-ish) but the song is brilliant and the lyric wonderfully warm and tender...top chops and all round great!!

Song: Pray For Me
Overall I love this but reckon you could have gone a little bit madder with vox....for instance gradually added layers of harmonies until you have a full blown rock band sound like you have with the instruments. But it's certainly solid as a rock in the songwriting area and although a live drummer would improve it dramatically, I realize you have to use the tools at your disposal.
Lyrically (which is my area as you know) it's spot on!!!!

Sounds great guys! Bob, your vocals are sounding great! Although I do agree they could come up a bit more in the mix. Love those guitars! Nicely done!

Song: The Gilded Age
Nice one BOb and Eric!!
Think the vox could come up a notch in the mix and the choruses could be tighter for vocal timing but they are small nits and overall I loved it!

Song: Stacy London
Excellent song, great tune and lyrics. Found the production a bit 'muddy' and bass-heavy, particularly the vocals, but that may just be my sub-woofer boosting the bass artificially.
Great work again guys!

Hey guys,
Of course I know Stacey London! This is a very fun, poppy tune, a bit different from the normal Angel's fare!! but lots of fun and well arranged! Nice work!

Song: Having A Wonderful Time
Great song, reminds me of Howard Devoto in his post-Magazine days. Great guitar sounds and distinctive vocals, nicely produced too. I may have to go and listen Jerky Versions Of The Dream now!

P.S. I think it was mean of Bob only to give you only four out of five for the vocals. :-)

Song: Goodbye To All That
Love the intro! Starting with unusual instrumentation and swinging into more expected format, it quickly sets just the right mood for the vocal. Which is excellent! Strongly and perfect intonation it's nice to hear a natural strong vocal comming clearly and honestly with the lyrics. The chorus is memorable which is always a good sign. The instrumental break quite in character and the entire track stays in character very well while it tells a hopeful story.
Vocals are brilliant, song powers along with great lyrics. Love it!
