Eklect
Tony Mucci, better known by his stage name Eklect, is an American music producer and current Music Composer @ Eklect INC. Commonly called a “workaholic”, Eklect is constantly at work creating new music, that pushes the bounds of the so called “box”. His music ingenuity has created an impressive following in the southern California area.
He has been known to work with individuals from the music community such as Grammy-Nominee R&B singer Angie Stone,Warner Bros. Pictures,Mista Fab, Dnicest, Raven Sorvino, Donyea, George Acogny, Lil Al B Sure, Jonna Pirinen and others. Eklect’s music expertise also flows into branding opportunities for fashion companies such as London Underground. Also in his career, he worked for Dr. Dre at Improve Fitness.
Currently, Eklect is working on tracks for consideration on Dr. Dre's latest album entitled "Detox
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
1995- Eklect Joins Elementary School Choir & learns trumpet
1996- Eklect learns harmonica and sings in JR High Choir
2000- Eklect learns keys and begins exploring audio engineering
2001- Eklect learns guitar and MIDI programming
2005- Eklect re-learns Reason, teams up with Dnicest, starts Eklect Records
2006- Goes to LARS, Releases U.S.eM.Cee with Dnicest, meets Raven Sorvino and works at BB Kings
2007- Works at LARS, Releases Fashion Statement and Swag Music with Raven Sorvino
2008- Starts Eklect Records LLC and opens The ER Studio Works for Dr. Dre at Improve Fitness, Releases Real Fresh, Project Aftermath, and Fashion Statement and SOUL Music with Raven Sorvino.
2009- Closes Eklect Records LLC due to recession. Releases Aiming for the Masses with Raven Sorvino. Starts Eklect Effect LIVE Show. Closed The ER Studio.
2010- Working on tracks for consideration for Dre's Detox, and working on solo album. Relocated to Utah for college. Sound Supervisor on "I Live At The House With The Blue Door"
2011- Working on Eklect's Solo Album, due out in Summer 2011
