Band/artist history
The company was est. as Pay$tyle Music. in 2000. I started my company as "Sick Bay Records & Productions" w/ Sicx, Big Hollis & Lynch back in '93. Since then we all went our ways but keep in touch. In 2000, I teamed up with a friend I call "Money Ernin'" and took it to the studio to complete the "Ghetto Gospel" CD. I then got signed to Siccmade and they put it out so here I am now. Since then and before then, I have produced music for Lynch, COS, D-Dubb, J-Killa, Double O Smebb, C.C.H., G-Menace and more. I've also featured w/ Junebug Slim, Lynch, COS, The Heated Compilation, SK2, Uthanizm, and a lot more since then.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We haven't performed in a while but, but this year will be a good one for E-Moe & Pay$tyle Music. We're getting ready to show the world what we know we can do. Performing is a big part of our image. Stay Tuned and look for Pay$tyle in a city near you coming soon.
Your musical influences
Everybody and everything in life. I do music because of all the artist I see doin they theing. But since I've been doin' this for a minute, I started seeing that this could be a way to feed my family.
What equipment do you use?
The studio is called "The Red C Recording Lab.". We have a Motif keyboard, a Planet Phatt, a Korg N364 Keyboard, and ProTools for now.
