Born July 1. 1979 in Jackson, TN
My inspiration for music came from watching my uncles that were drum players in their High school (J.C.M) marching bands. They would come home from school and start beating on empty buckets with their drum sticks and crowds of people would form around them listening while they played and I uttered along
At age 12 I moved from TN to IL with my family .
By the age of 15, I began stage performance at local talent shows and night clubs in Belleville, IL & E.St. Louis, IL .At that time we were know as the rap group Kingpen. After experiencing a group break up because each founding member chose to move to different regions. I later reformed under the name Drummer Boy Beats. Music became a way of keeping me out of trouble and a voice of expression that helps me to cope with the loss of loved ones do to violence
