I'm Dru aka "DruDeadly." I've been producing music since a child.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Growing up in church with a musical father, I had to learn to play something. So, I learned how to play drums the best, although I do play a little keys and bass guitar. Then later in my teen years, I started getting into layering tracks to make music on an old keyboard my dad used. I eventually got some friends to rap over my beats. They loved my music, and started calling me "DruDeadly," because they would say I was "...deadly on them beats." I kept it ever since. Here we are.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've performed in front of well over 1 million people in my lifetime.
Your musical influences
My influences come from mostly Hip Hop, Jazz, and RnB,
What equipment do you use?
Mac OS, Presonus Studio One 5, Akai MPC 2.0, Akai Advance 49, Akai Studio Black, Akai MPC one, and multiple VSTs.
