Not familiar with original. But really catchy. Excellent guitar work. Instantly hooks you. Your son has a very good voice.

Lovin' the dramatic edge to this song! A superb bluesy, soulful song with very expressive guitar work. Great job on the vocals.

Great job with those warm soulful vocals Carlo, and Mike's solo punctuations set the already steamy mix on fire!

Nice pop song with a caribbean touch, very feelgood attitude. This could be played at a beach bar with people sipping their margeritas and nodding their heads to this little gem.

Zappa is the first thing that comes to mind. But the vocals also remind me of Lou Reed, with the laid back attitude. I recognize Carlo's hand in the making of the sound. The 70's sound is definitely there, the only thing missing the guitar played backwards :) But the fuzzy, filtered guitar tone is just as good or better. Great feel to this piece, great ideas, great vocals - great music!

Zappa style storytelling with a groovy Halloween vibe. Dig that fuzzed out solo tone and laid back attitude.

Cool late 60's San Francisco psychedelia that reminds me a bit of Grateful Dead meets The Doors ;)
Oh this is a treasure. You really are singing the blues ! And Mike is always a treat. Great collab.
