Douglas Branch was born into a musical family and carries on the tradition of generations of accomplished multi-instrumentalists. His own contribution to the family's musical heritage began when his mother gave him his first electric guitar at 15. Hopelessly addicted to this new passion, he has been crafting his own luscious style ever since. For decades, he has played in th studio and in live venues including local church services, music conferences and Jazz concerts sharing the lineup with artists such as Mark Eagan and the late O'Landa Draper.
In the course of his broad experience, he has had the opportunity to tast and indulge in a wildly diverse array of musical styles from traditional African music to cinematic orchestral arrangements, from Gospel to Metal and beyond. His music is an adventure: a passionate journey filled with exotic flavors rich and lush, some sweet and some bitter.
