Introducing, DLP Records/Millien Dollar Operation [DLP/MDO]
From East Flatbush Brooklyn, New York, two cousins put together Dirty Lowdown Productions [DLP]. They also double as in-house producers/publishers for The Millien Dollar Operation. They are H.G. Hunnid Gran AKA Rah The Enforcer AKA High-G and Phiz The Don AKA Ike Betina.
To this day industry rule #4080 that Q-tip brought to our attention still stands today and I doubt that will ever change. The two fellas put together a digital studio to manufacture their products and create a publishing company.
They started by studying the history and ideologies of some of the greatest producers. They combined elements from some of the rawest and purest forms of hardcore, underground, productions in hip hop. They came up with a very potent and highly addictive formula, the DLP, Dirty Lowdown Productions.
Phiz and H.G. switched hats again to played the roles of A&Rs and turned to the streets to scout for performers. They screened local artists and hand picked an elite group of artists with incredible talent to showcase on some of their tracks.
The artists are:
Prince Siah AKA Siah Fyah The New Exposure AKA The "It" Factor.
C-eye Danger
Prophet-Z AKA PZ
Baaria
Choppi Brown
