Of course. I get to unleash my inner beast. I feel apprehension before I go on stage, but when I hop on stage people get to see another side of me.
My first performance. It was at the Convention Center in New Orleans. I had to balance my feelings of excitement and nervousness, but I hit the stage and had a blast.
Your musical influences
There's so many to name. My influences range from Jay-Z to Portishead. Some of my influences are Kanye, Dilla, the whole Stones Throw label, Company Flow, Nirvana, Coldplay, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Incubus, Oasis, Sonic Youth, and OutKast.
My main influence is my mother because I can relate to her. She's a very spiritual and wise indiviual, so I can seek advice from her and at the same time have a normal conversation with her. We constantly bicker, but I lover her.
What equipment do you use?
FL Studio 8, but it's only because I'm unemployed. I have dreams of using high quality eequipment in an upscale studio.
