Born into a military family. Derrick Collins has traveled the world and was introduced to music at a very young age. Inspired by Marvin Gaye, John, Legend, Michael Jackson, Tyrese, Ne-Yo, Trey Songz, and Chris Brown to name a few. His vocal style resonates a smooth baritone/tenor type which upbeat club songs called She Bad, mid tempo songs ballads called I wont tell.
