Arguable, Matthew A. Matey is gradually catching the hearts of many especially in Ashaiman a suburb in Tema where he hails from and all around the globe.
The Ghanaian music industry will not be completed without the chapters of De Cymple. If achievements are one of the yard sticks to measure the success of an artiste, Mr. Cymple will remain one of the best on the chart of all research groups. The Afro beatz ACT is about to defiled the odds, weather the storms and add more to the history of the Ghanaian music industry.
Mr. Cymple is a Ghanaian Afro beatz, Urban & RnB musician who completed his basic education at Celestial Preparatory School in Ashaiman and went further to pursue General Arts II in Manya Krobo Snr High School in the Eastern Region of Ghana. Matthew A. Matey aka Cymple holds a Degree B.A (HONS) in Georgraphy & Resource develepment after spending 4 years in Ghana Premier University , University of Ghana 2009.
He started life gradually and started singing at the age of 10 yrs .Undoubtely, his style and unique stage performance has caught the eye of many presenters, sound engineers and other entertainment guroos in GHANA. Mr. Cymple's style of singing on a fast-pacing song proves that hiplife music goes beyond the boundaries of just rapping to the rhythm of a song. His style is melodious and blends beat of the music. Gradually, De Cymple is climbing the ladder.
De Cymple strongly believes in Hardwork and a very dedicated christian who worships at Assemblies of God. On his recent interview with a popular radio presenter he mentioned that his mission is to add up to and make concrete “Urban Ghanaian Music & Entertainment” accepted and recognized both locally and continentally.
Mr. Cymple hopes to encourage and inspire young talents in the Ghanaian industry to always leave trails of GOOD fortune. He is currently working on his maiden album.Have you performed in front of an audience?i love to play live any where . But sometimes it has to depend on the kind of gig and the event organisers. My band is comfortable to play on any platform.
