Daniel Sjolund began piano lessons at the age of six and was first introduced to digital music production through Magix Music Maker Version 3.0. After years of exploration and continuous upgrades, he now operates a professional-grade personal studio equipped with industry-standard software and hardware.
Originally trained in classical piano performance, Daniel has always been passionate about both piano playing and digital music arrangement. His musical journey started at St. Joseph's School of Music with Mrs. Evelyn Lee. Even during his first year, Daniel performed in numerous recitals and earned recognition as a State Finalist in the Minnesota Music Teachers Association (MMTA) piano competition. In subsequent years, he refined his skills studying with Lynn Tschudy at Metro Music Studio in Roseville and later with Kim Lange at Northwestern College of Music. By his fourth year, he was under the tutelage of Michael Galeski in Shoreview, continuing formal lessons until the fall of 2007. Since then, Daniel has transitioned from live performance to focusing primarily on music production within the recording studio.
Beyond music, Daniel enjoys a diverse range of activities, including golf, martial arts, photo editing, soccer, pool, building computers, learning new instruments, and traveling. He has explored many countries such as France, Switzerland, Germany, Liechtenstein, Italy, Canada, Japan, and South Koreareflecting his half South Korean heritage. Daniel is deeply grateful for the unwavering love and support from his parents, relatives, and friends throughout his personal, academic, and musical journey.
