I started D-Tune in Poland because I wanted dance music that hits hard and stays melodic. The early years were about exploration trying different styles, learning how to translate ideas into finished tracks, and building my own production standards from the ground up. Step by step, releases and feedback shaped the sound into what it is now: energetic electronic music with an emotional core, aimed at clubs, festival energy, and focused listening. I’m still pushing the project forward independently, improving the craft with every release, and keeping the name D-Tune tied to music not guitar tuning.Your musical influences
My influences started with classic Eurodance and early-2000s dance music catchy hooks, bright chords, simple but effective grooves, and that feel-good energy that instantly makes you move. I’ve always loved melodies that are easy to remember, uplifting progressions, and arrangements built around momentum.
Over time my sound evolved toward festival-style trance: bigger builds, wider atmospheres, more emotional harmonies, and drops that hit with both power and melody. Today I blend that Eurodance nostalgia the direct, hook-driven songwriting with the cinematic scale and energy of modern trance, keeping the music euphoric, driving, and built for loud speakers and headphones. I love creations by Gareth Emery, ATB, Ben Gold, Ummet Ozcan and mamy many other artists. What equipment do you use?
I’m a big fan of Pioneer gear, and I strongly believe you can’t really cut corners on quality if you want professional results. In the studio I use a mix of hardware and software: Genelec monitors for accurate listening, a Focusrite audio interface for clean and reliable capture/playback, and Novation controllers to keep the workflow fast and hands-on.
For synths, I own an Access Virus TI2 for that classic, powerful hardware character, but a large part of my production is built with VST instruments and effects inside the DAW. The goal is always the same: solid sound, efficient workflow, and release-ready mixes.
