DNA Codex

I began to recording on a cassette 4-track (Tascam Porta-One) in 1988, and enjoying the whole process of recording sounds, I then purchased an Atari ST, running Cubase Vs1. I moved on to a digital 8-track in about 1998 (Roland VS-880) and then to a more modern mac setup, which I'm using now. I am a visual artist, as well as a musical experimenter, an dI believe this does inform the way I work.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I was born in Canberra (A.C.T) in Australia, but I have lived in Melbourne since 1972.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have performed as part of an indie rock band in 1989-90, performing at Melbourne's Evelyn Hotel, in Fitzroy.
Your musical influences
Electronic Pop from all era's, and electronic dance music form th3 1980's onward!
What equipment do you use?
Mainly soft-synths (Mac OS) but I use older hardware too, Juno 106, Roland MC-505, Atari-St, Roland SH-32, Alesis Micron, Alesis HR-16, Tascam 4-track reel to reel tape deck....
