What do you get when you mix Hip Hop, Rock/Punk, Classical together into a big melting pot and let brew? The outcome is DMinor. Consisiting of some of Ottawa's hottest musicans on the rise.
DMinor is anchored by Johnny Touch [Emcee], MC Leod [Rocker/Drummer], Elliott Martian [Classical/Keys], Hayley Max-Lino [Singer], Kritikal [Emcee], and Sweet Souljett [Singer].
Ranging from Spoken Words, Club Bangers and everything in between, DMinor never strays from the concept of self consciousness and the obsticals in life which one must face.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Johnny Touch - Known for being a lyrical, conscious rapper hailing from Ottawa, has been in the Underground Hip Hop circuit since 14 but just reccently blown up two years ago with his First LP "The GodFather". Solo for most of his career and wanted a Change.
Rem McLeod - one half of the brains behind the Beat Production behind DMinor. Rem has been playing music his whole life is also part of the Funk/Folk group Dirty30's. Guitar is his strength and the man behind the creative Drum Patterns.
Elliott Martian - the second half of the brains behind the Beat Productions. Elliott brings a lighter side to DMinor as his expertise in Classical Music. The master of the Piano and Keyboard behind most of tracks in DMinor.
Hayley Max-Lino - one of two female singers in the group, Hayley is the chorus women. Her Pop/RnB flavour brings life to most tracks such as "Walking On Sunshine", and "Labyrinth of my Mind". Also a contestant on Canadian Idol.
KritiKal - The other emcee and only male singer of DMinor. Kritikal brings a pop flavour to the group as he cuts most tracks with his choppy flo and swagger. Also the founder of GroUndZerO.
