My name Derrick Lane aka D-Lane. I'm from Pittsburgh born and raised. Music has been apart of my life ever since I was in elementary school. Playing the trumpet and other brass instruments. I love all types of music from Trance to Movie Scores. But I really fell in love with Hip Hop. I started producing beats when I was in high school when I was 16. This hobby grew into a passion. Since then I have generated a buzz thru out the city even reaching outside the state on album projects and movie soundtracks. But this is only the beginning I gotta whole world to conquer.

Wale, Kanye West, Curren$y, Wiz Khalifa, Nas, Pharrell, Jay-Z, Kid Cudi... Too many to name lol.. There's alot that influence great music.
