DJ TeK E Born in Yokosuka Japan. Lived a military life as his father was in the US Navy. Moved to Pennsylivania when he was 15 years old. He started out as a mobile DJ doing weddings, Birthdays, and Private parties. After awhile he was bored with this and wanted to move on to something bigger. He wanted to become a club DJ.
TeK E has spun in several clubs in Philadelphia area such as Chrome, 12th Air Command, Emerald City, Glam Lounge, Silk City Lounge, Keywest, World Cafe Live, TYZ, Tragos Lounge, Club XS. Outside of Pennsylvania he has spun at Bounce Nightclub, Club X. He has worked in NYC with gaycollegeparty.com @Heaven Nightclub, and Detention @Stonewall. Now he is currently working at Suite Lounge NYC. Overseas he has DJed in Club Denile Guam.
DJ TeK E spin a wide varity of music due to the huge music change in the industry. From House, Hiphop, Reggae, to Trance. However DJ TeK E's soul is into HOUSE music. His mixing skills are endless smooth mixing sets from genre to genre.
He also will never give up his Vinyl. He quotes "I dont think your a DJ unless you can spin on the roots, Vinal is the most rawest form of data. Technology is good but to much makes the dj sort of fake and lazy, there are to many lazy DJs who put on premixed cds and pretend to mix, or use computers for DJing. If your bored quit your job and let someone who wants to work his talent in your spot who is real". He was very firm and straight forward on this fact when I asked him about this subject.

What equipment do you use?
1200s for vinal. and CDs Anything Pioneer or Denon. However for DJing I really choose Pioneer CD players because of its performance. I have had nightmares with Denons locking up and skipping CDs. I have been through Numerous headphones and sorry to say "May sound good, but they are made CHEAP" and they are Pioneer and Sony's. You should check out SKULLCANDY VERY VERY Durable and SOUNDS GREAT.....Anything else?
