DJ Shiva Beats
Chris Cook aka DJ Shiva started his music career young. Inspired by the early rave scene he bought his first set of turntables at 15 and began djing. Over the years his taste and style evolved but he has always remained a fan of hard bass lines and classical instruments. The crossover from drum and bass to hip-hop was a progressive one and influenced by other artists moved into production. Now 12 years on, living in Beijing gives him the freedom to pursue his passion. His style is varied, from downbeat to club banger, from synth to orchestra.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
