Response Productions LLC, is a hip hop/rap production company based in New York, NY. Established by Dallas, TX’s Brent English in 2000, Response is devoted to introducing some of the most hard-hitting, adrenaline pumped, and radio ready productions to the national hip hop scene. Response prides itself on being a true production company as opposed to a mere beat company. We intend to establish ourselves as a premiere hip hop production company along the same models of DJ Toomp’s Nzone Entertainment and Swizz Beat’s production label Full Surface. Our mission is to provide tracks for hip hop artists both nationally and internationally that will best highlight their lyrical performance. Our focus is making beats that catch a rappers ear within the first fifteen seconds. We pride ourselves on acting as a liaison between the rap scenes occurring in the south as well as the east. This thought process lives through the fact that Endo has grown up in Texas and witnessed the national recognition of southern hip hop in the last decade. After four years of living in New York, he feels that he has adopted enough of the big city swagger to provide hard tracks for artists from Texas, New York, and every state in between. Response is currently searching for a production deal from a major label in the hopes of expanding clientele, maintaining longer relationships with artists, and earning funds for more production equipment. In achieving a production deal, Response will take the role of working with artists on their professional demo or finished album, imaging, and professional performance, etc. After the artist is developed and the album is completed, Response will negotiate and enter into deal with the major for benefit of artist services where the major would then own all rights in the finished sound recordings. We are currently looking for financial support for a studio space and additional production equipment that will be based out of Brooklyn, New York. We are also in need of financial help to market our company and artists, expand our team, and advertisement. Our potential challenges including finding the perfect artists to collaborate with on a long term scale, competition posed by established producers, and earning revenue for Response will continue to work independently with a small team of producers and songwriters in a collaborative effort of producing hits for both rising and established, signed and unsigned rap acts.
