Cyclone 313

Something New!! Cyclone from da D!!! I love what I do. I do it because I love it and I have a passion for it. I do it to be able to make a difference or provide a comfort for people through a song. I do it for those who cant. I do it for the people who chose the wrong road and told me not to do the same. I do it for my family, but most importantly I do it because this is wat God put me here for.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I am a true musician, says Markus Parker better known by his stage name Cyclone. The 20 year old rapper/singer/producer is currently an underground mixtape artist. Born February 17, 1988 in Oakland, CA, Cyclones road to glory had its start. He moved from place to place because he was a military child, but he and his mother found themselves relocated in her childhood city Detroit, MI in 1996. Once there he was introduced quickly to rough streets and a faster scene of life. As a child he loved music. You could catch him reciting a biggie or tupac rhyme because thats all his aunts use to play. He started out singing at the age of seven, but it was one day that made him really interested in music. While watching the Apollo talent show on television one night, he observed a boy around his age playing the saxophone. On that day cyclone had a new goal to accomplish, mastering the saxophone. As a saxophonists Cyclone has had much success. But the height of it was reached in his senior year of high school, when he performed with his high schools wind symphony in New York Cities Carnegie Hall. That day changed his life. All he could do was think about coming back as a hip hop artist and doing the same thing. His rap career began at the Detroit School of Arts, when he met and teamed up with fellow student rapper K-Tek. Soon after that Cyclone was brought into K-Teks rap group Drocca which had another member by the name of R.E. Through high school the three of them earned the respect of their schools and of record label A&R representatives. Cyclone has impressed universal and interscope records throughout his rap career. He has also impressed full-surface records recording artists Cassidy in 2005 at a downtown Detroit Mc Donalds location. All I know is I got a call from Tek and I then was flying to Mickey Ds. I give thanks to the Lord and my crew because we are always in the right place at the right time, says Cyclone while laughing. Now with 6 years plus in the hip-hop game, he is getting prepared to drop his first solo mixtape FKTS:Chronicles Vol. 1 Lock And Loaded. With his first solo project on deck and many mixtape slots and features for Cyclone and Drooca 08 seems to be the year.

I want to thank God for everything, because without him I could not do anything. I love what I do!!!!
