Born and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts, Cri Text discovered he had a passion for writing poetry at a young age and was a naturally talented source of inspiration to others. As he moved into adulthood he began his studies in psychology, world religions, and politics. He is now driven by his dedication to the one true God, Brahma.

Cri Text grew up listening to Rock music but truly fell in love with his craft after being introduced to Hip Hop in his teenage years. He began learning how to freestyle on street corners, alleyways and in basements. He eventually bought recording equipment and the rest is history. He has since collaborated with a myriad of artists including Anno Domini, X-Raided, former member of Three 6 Mafia Kingpin Skinny Pimp, Goretex of Non Phixion, KRS-One affiliate Beast 1333, and Dr Dizzy. He started his own record label, Evil Money Records, and released over 40 mixtapes, albums, and projects amounting to over 275 songs since 2010. His mission is to break boundaries, expose extremism and shine a light on corruption.

Cri Text’s videos and accounts are routinely banned on platforms such as Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, Rumble, and Vimeo. He has even been censored by his former distributor, Tunecore, and has been blacklisted by the venues in his own city due to his controversial reputation. This is why Cri Text calls himself the MOST CENSORED rapper. Although the effort to silence him is slowly growing, it is only a matter of time until the truth he spits will reach the masses, for an idea whose time has come cannot be stopped by any army or government. When the battle for truth is on the horizon, Cri Text will take up the mantle as the modern day battlefield drummer. He will propagate the sounds of war to thunder. Good will prevail and evil will fall!
