Country Black
During his lifetime, growing up in the country was a hard stepping stone for a young black male to pursue his dreams and make it do what it do. Country Black was one of the lucky ones who made it out of the country and had a chance to experience the city-limits. He was born in Montgomery, AL then later moved to Old Kingston, AL and ended up where he resides now in Louisville Kentucky. Country was inspired by his aunt Janice Brown who was a upcoming singer in the Alabama area. After seeing his aunt chase her dreams and appearing on shows such as star search, he knew deep in his heart that one day he wanted to be apart of the music industry also.
He moved to Louisville, KY around 1996, where he had to start a new life, find new friends, and adapt to a new atmosphere. Country black teamed up with a group of rappers and they formed a group called " Bluegrass Ballas " their lyrical content consist of matters of the urban hip hop that included money, cars, women and the attire that separates young black gifted artist within their genre. After dropping tons of songs and no progress was being made, country soon departed and regrouped with another group called "Ace Boyz". While with the group Ace Boyz country was apart of two group projects, album " Royal Flush" and album "Wild Cards". Country soon realized that he was not happy again so he departed and became a solo artist.
Throughout Country's career of recording in the inner city, his name began to create a buzz in the streets of Louisville. His fan base significantly grew within the Midwest simply because he has a different sound and everyone can relate to his music. Throughout his career, Country mimics his rhymes after some of those who are considered the greatest such as Young Jeezy, Guicci Mane, Lil Boosie, T.I., Plies and other vets in the music industry that carved the way for young black African American Entertainers. Country is constantly challenging himself, and continues to be successful by dropping consecutive hits that is fit for the music industry and believe that one day he could put the state of Kentucky on the map, and failing is not an option in his agenda.
