Born from a need to tell the world about the nastier things in life, Corruptable arose from the ashes of two very underrated Wisconsin bands. Taking songs from those bands, Corruptable rode forth to make a name for itself in the Wisconsin music scene. Even if sometimes that name was "The Corruptables"
As time progressed the name Corruptable became connected with words such as "Patriot" and "Evolution" as the band found the voice to awaken the masses...but it still needed the voice to scream of that change. A shake up was needed.

The original version of Corruptable grew out of a need for two long time friends to join forces with a phenominal drummer and make quality music that neither of them were making the situations they were in.
Both Robert and Charlie had played together prior to the bands inception, as had Charlie and Al-X, so a synergy exsisted from day one. Of course along with this type of synergy comes a combustable element which made the bands time together frustrating for all at times. Out of this came songs that are standards for the band, even in the current configuration.
This site showcases the band with a softer edge. With a more raw youthful energy now in place, the band leans more towards hard and heavy but still has its softer moments.Have you performed in front of an audience?The new incarnation plays all over the midwest. Special moments. The CD release of Long Time Coming. Covered by the local newspaper, and heavily attened, it was the show of shows for the band. Only the final show at the same location comes close.
Your musical influences
Corruptables influences run a wide range. Pink Floyd and The Beatles is where it started for Charlie and Robert and everything after that builds on it. Then the band throws it all out the window, and retrive some of it to tie the chaos together.What equipment do you use?
Charlie: Gibson Les Paul. Robert:Rickenbacker Bass Alex:A Custom set of drums probably made from the bones of every great rock drummer he could get his hands on...Kidding on that last part.Anything else?
What you see and hear on this page represents three years of tireless effort on the part of three musicans, and the birth of what Corruptable currently is. The reason for this incarnations demise was growth. Change. The original members cherish these memories, and don't want to see them fade away.
