Christopher LaMar Horton a.k.a Corincris was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN on November 13th,1984. Growing up, Corincris felt he was an outcast with not that many friends or people he could build connections with. It wasn't until the age 18 when Corincris met a friend who would change his life forever. She introduced him to the mercy and power of God's love. Her joyful spirit towards life and the forgiveness towards people who wronged her, made Corincris want to seek out that same love and joy through God. Corincris started developing his love for music in the year of 2007 after his first son was born. Corincris believed that through the dark times people face, Faith will help overcome and that we all have purpose giving by God, so there should be no doubt in anything we do. Corincris labeled his brand, Cocky Belief to encourage people that in life you have to be cocky and believe in your abilities no matter what others say or what challenges you face.
