Copy Your Idols was a one man band for 4 years that preached for free music and self-expression. Then, it expanded; with many interested artists eager to contribute, Copy Your Idols became a family of many artists from various musical backgrounds.
Band/artist history
Gary Klatt just got bored one day in early spring '07 and started making songs with moody ambient tunes that integrated breakbeat influences. From there, He decided to make it into a project, and started releasing songs the alias "Copy Yr Idols". It began to take on a sound and a theme of its own, and since then, has expanded into a family of sorts.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No.
Your musical influences
Copy Your Idols finds influence in the lost, the hopeless, the hopeful, the curious, the relieved. The content produced is based upon content, not quality, and emphasizes on self-expression through sound.
To answer the question more directly, we find inspiration through our surroundings, and attempt to interpret that in sound - whether it's in low-quality or high-quality does not make a difference.
What equipment do you use?
AK-47.
Anything else?
I am only a vessel unto yourself.
Put some words in it dude. Other than that awesome.
djkvhefkjvhefjhvjekvf Copy yr noodles is awesome.....its idols? FUCK IT. ITS AWESOME
sweeeeeeeet
Love this track for what it is worth. The content is beautiful, although the quality lacks; a lot of that being the fault of Soundclick reducing bit-rates. Regardless though... <3
