Cooxie
I go by Cooxie. Most call me Cookie, Coox, Cookster, or Cooker [whatever works for you]. I am music producer currently living in Pittsburgh. I make music because it's a stress reliever as well as a public diary without words. I began as a child self-taught keyboardist and began expanding my talent not only as a musician but a photographer and writer. Since I was educated at performing arts schools for most of my life, I was granted the opportunity to utilize different instruments and learned to read and write music. Once I graduated, I hit a roadblock and took a year off to think about what career I wanted to pursue. Perhaps I feared failure. I got my life back on track thanks to family and loved ones and decided to pursue a audio production/engineer career in NYC. What I've learned for my experiences so far, is that you cannot chase dreams; you must live them-- achieve them. I want the world to watch me, and help me achieve greatness, and in return, I want to deliver greatness.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, I've played keyboard at two jazz events, and also record with live instruments sometimes.
