Consuella
Consuella begin singing as a child in church. Being the oldest granddaughter of a church Bishop traveling and singing was as second nature as breathing. Starting out just impersonating other singers such as Teena Marie, Natalie Cole and Aretha Franklin. As an adult she has performed at several different clubs in and around the Cincinnati and Indianapolis area. Kentucky included. In 2008 finishing her first CD entitled Brighter Day. Now working on her second CD. Working on my first CD was a blessing so this is just amazing to have the opportunity to work on another one. Consuella can be found performing in and around the tri state area, with great bands including The Cylde Brown Band and other talented artist.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been performing for at least 10 years or so. I have been singing since i was nine years old.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes I perform live at various vineyard around Cincinnati and the surrounding cities. Nothing better then performing live.
Your musical influences
Angela Winbush, Aretha Franklin and Rachelle Ferrrelle. And of course Teena Marie.
What equipment do you use?
I record with Pro Tools HD. My mic is a Blue Dragon fly. I've been blessed to have my own recording studio at home.
Anything else?
My husband is my producer so everything is in house so I'm blessed beyond measure on that tip.
