Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
As an independent artist, it wasn't easy finding people to help record on a budget that consisted of Ramen noodles and chicken. Beats were hard to come by. If I wanted to record and follow my dreams, I had to learn to make them myself. Luckily, with the help of the emerging service Youtube, I was able to find the guidance that was needed to create my own music. In this time consuming study, I learned much of what I have applied to the music which I am making available to you today. You get all the rewards with none of the endless sleepless nights, and issues that come with that.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
As an artist I performed many times live. A special memory for me was the police showing up while I was on stage, and me thanking them for protecting and serving the communities in which we delivered our entertainment services.
Your musical influences
My influences in hip hop as a whole are based on my love for a specific sector of hip hop. Eazy E, Tupac, Scarface, The Dayton Family, and everything coming out of the Chicago streets.
What equipment do you use?
I use FL Studio for production. If I am recording vocals, I prefer Sonar. Also have plugins such as Waves and Autotune.
Anything else?
I just want to provide an avenue for artists to be able to record quickly and efficiently. By providing quality beats at a low cost, I believe that somebody will escape the reality of the streets.
