I grew up listening to music on the radio and cassette tapes and always enjoyed listening to a variety of different types of music work mostly caught my ear was the hip hop and r&b from the 1990s when I was growing up and all the way to the 2000s music was good back then it was diverse and it was brilliant how it was put together something most producers have forgotten about so I try to make the best of what I got and do what I can with as little experience as I have and create something big something good something that is quite stylistic and unique and still up to date but without losing that captured flavor of 90s and 2000 style hip hop I enjoy music reggae pop hip hop electro metal a diverse expansion of music I enjoy very much including music from around the world the music I produce also reflects the environment I have settled in and become accustomed to and has a big impact on the music I produce a lot of the beats a lot of the music reflect parts and areas where I have grown up or have been around and so I try to use that as inspiration
To be honest sheer boredom what's bored one day I enjoyed music always messed around with sound either recording cassette tapes off of other cassette tapes or CDs DVDs VHS tapes and editing sound to where it sounds good enough rather off radio or wherever I enjoy music editing music so I took that slight drive and pushed it a little forward and started producing and mixing music 2009 was a real inspiration for me due to the fact that I had gotten to a point where I was bored enough that I actually purchased music editing software and learned it from and first person perspective read a little bit of the manual but mostly it was Hands-On self-taught and studied a little bit at a time about music and sound quality created a SoundCloud in 2010 and a few others after and now I am where I'm at today to 10 years in the making mostly though I got to give thanks and inspiration to the Black Lodge singers a local Town power group to which I have worked with and produced a few albums for them and use them as inspiration and as practice to improve my sound quality and skills so therefore I owe thanks and a generous amount of respect to the Scabbyrobe family for there support
This is sort of yes and sort of know my personal music has never been played live but I have worked with power groups and round dance groups and Native American music and I have sang at Live events most notable was in warm springs Browning Montana and fort Thompson South Dakota and I've been to Oggi's Canada and have recorded and mixed and produced music for Native Americans and sang and performed at events as well
Really I enjoyed more of the g-funk classics like the sounds of Warren G sounds of Nate Dogg sounds of dr. Dre so I mostly had a lot of love for West coast hip-hop especially when it comes to g-funk sounds I enjoy it and I'd like to work in it so I took that as an inspiration I understand and if read through and look through the many different varieties of P-Funk funkadelics and also modern influences as well and reggae and pop music mostly sounds like Black Uhuru Bob Marley also inspired me to try and diverse my music as well I enjoyed instrumental music
I started off with Cakewalk 5 music maker by Gibson and I am currently working on FL Studios currently have the mobile I used to work in recording with power groups so the equipment I used at that time was a Sony IC recorder a pro audio 22-22 mixer and share microphones and also a down bass microphone to record drum sounds at live powwow events
I'd like to give thanks to all who have helped me and supported me throughout the years and hope that one day I can become an inspiration to others to improve and inspire music and diverse music into the next generation of artists
