Chameleon Jazz (sax duo)
Chameleon Jazz line-up can range from solo to Big Band, but its most popular format is as a duo.
Our music is relaxed, easy-listening jazz, especially chosen to brighten any occasion, but not to drown your guest's conversation!
Our programme includes all types and includes Latin, laid back blues, relaxed dinner jazz as well as lively soul and funk.
Our flexibility means that we are suitable for all styles of event from Weddings and Dinner Parties to Craft Fairs and River Cruises!
Based in Hampshire, and performing for over 5 years throughout the South of England, Chameleon is the perfect choice to add that touch of class to your special occasion.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Jane, the band leader, is fun loving with great audience rapport. Always bubbly and smiling; she keeps the music from becoming too serious! Her creative flair makes for exciting listening. Jane plays Tenor, Alto and Soprano Saxophones, and has been known to sing! She has studied in London, France, Sussex and Hampshire. She is currently performing with 2 Big Bands and a small jazz combo called 'Monitor' (to keep the lizard theme!)
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Although we play mostly at private functions, we have a monthly residency at The George Inn in Fordingbridge and we can be seen busking for charity in and around Salisbury.
