Celestial Collapse is an emerging musical duo formed by two kindred spirits who met by chance but were united by a shared passion for music. The group brings together a dynamic, high energy drummer and a reserved yet deeply expressive vocalist. Their connection was immediate, sparked by a mutual drive to create and explore sound without limits.
Their journey began with a mesmerizing rendition of Dying Star by Ashnikko, reimagined through a distinctly ethereal and otherworldly lens. This celestial inspired direction became the foundation of their identity, leading to the creation of the name Celestial Collapse, a reflection of both the vastness of space and the intensity of their artistic vision.
Blending atmospheric melodies with powerful, deliberate rhythms, Celestial Collapse crafts music that transcends boundaries, drawing listeners into an immersive universe of emotion and sound. Their chemistry is unmistakable, and their commitment to sonic storytelling delivers an experience that feels both cosmic and deeply human.
This is not simply a cover. It is a full scale emotional reconstruction.
Celestial Collapse’s rendition of Dying Star takes the raw vulnerability of Ashnikko’s original and expands it into something far more expansive. Through atmospheric percussion, subtle rhythmic progression, and layered male vocal harmonies, the track evolves with intention and depth. From quiet hums to raspy lows and soaring highs, each moment rises and falls like the breath of the universe itself.
The result is a haunting yet hopeful journey through sound, one that has already resonated strongly with early listeners, many of whom have gone as far as to call it superior to the original.
For those who seek beauty in darkness and strength in sound, Celestial Collapse offers an experience that lingers long after the final note.

This became my favorite song after about 12 seconds, and the rest of the song only reinforced my opinion.
This song is complicated yet groovy, with layers of sound artfully woven through the instruments and vocals in complimentary ranges. It also has so much texture - which is not a word I often use to describe music - but the gruffness of the male vocalist and the smoothness of the female vocalist are so intense that I feel like I can touch it. Their voices are beautiful yet powerful, soothing yet exhilarating.
I love the drummer - he’s like Ringo Starr in that he compliments the vocalists and other instrumental perfectly, not overwhelming them, but then hits us with some deceptively complex beats while making them sound so fluid. He is literally the bass and figuratively the base, tying the song together.
I can’t wait to hear more stars falling from Celestial Collapse!
