Not you're average starving artist.Band/artist history
I got hit in the head with a guitar when I was 2. No. Actually. I knew I wanted to do this for life when I was around 7 and I picked up my step dads old Semi Acoustic. I mean...All I could do at the time was literally PICK IT UP. I didn't earn to play it until maybe 2 years later. My passion for music is more than just a passion. Its a therapy and a release. From the day I started to write lyrics it's pretty much been the only thing worth being here for. It drives me to levels I would not normally be driven to in the real world. When the music and lyrics are written, so is a story. Sometimes a story that I didn't even know I had in me. People who think music is just another form of entertainment are so far off. Music. Is. Life. Like my headline says. I am NOT your average starving artist. Number 1, I'm not starving. And Number 2, I'm certainly not average. But I do consider myself an artist. This is all I have ever wanted to do. And I'm pretty damn sure that until the day I die, This is all I WILL be doing. -Cassie HatcherHave you performed in front of an audience?I play at open mic's when I get the chance. With much hope for future shows.
Your musical influences
I am influenced by everything and everyone I have ever heard or been on contact with. But I must say I love listening to Our Lady Peace, The Distillers, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Metric, Stars, Matthew good, Tegan and sara. And most recently. Ra Ra Riot. What equipment do you use?
Anything I can get my hands on.
