Carbon Zombies, is a project started by two brothers. There has been an line up change, but Carbon Zombies is pressing on. The project, this band is something that stands for fun and musical passion even with barriers such as inexperience and age. Carbon Zombies will never die and that is a fact, plain and simple.
Carbon Zombies began in March 24, 2013, with two guys by the names of Conner Keith and Ezekiel Keith, both inspired by bands like Hollywood Undead and Linkin Park. They wanted to create a band but didn’t have much experience or knowledge with any instruments. None the less they tried anyways. With nothing but a Rock Band drum set, a cheap usb mic, a Toshiba laptop and the programs Drum Machine and Audacity they made music. The following day March 25, 2013, Conner asked high school friend and classmate Alexander Moresi to take a look at a track and asked him if he’d like to add some keyboard elements to it. Alexander agreed and that day Moresi was added to the band line up. Weeks after wards Conner for the most part with some help from Ezekiel and Alexander, the band updated as much info and interview questions as they could. After a week of recording and many delays and other problems before then, the band released their first song “Frankenstein” on April 8, 2013 on sound click. April 11, 2013, (this name has been removed by request of person) joined Carbon Zombies as a full-fledged member. “Frankenstein” was retired from the charts May 7, 2013 it was number 178 in Hip-Hop and number 14 in Alternative Hip-Hop. The next day “REVERSAL” was put on soundclick. On May 26, 2013 Carbon Zombies released the song “Mikey”, a few hours later, on the following day “REVERSAL” was retired from the charts, it ranked number 525 in the genre Hip-Hop, and number 43 in the subgenre of Alternative Hip-Hop. On June 7, 2013, Carbon Zombies released their next song by the name of “Back to me”. On June 10, 2013, “Mikey” was retired from the charts, it ranked number 537 in the genre Hip-Hop and 47 in the subgenre Alternative Hip-Hop. On June 23, 2013 Carbon Zombies released their newest song “Cell Life”. Blazing out of the gates Carbon Zombies released another song called “Empty Entries” the following day June 24, 2013. On June 26, 2013, it became official that Alexander Moresi and (this name has been removed by request of person) had parted ways with Carbon Zombies, both due to inactivity. It was quick and non-aggressive. The band was left with its two founding members Conner and Ezekiel. Also that day, it was announced that Carbon Zombies was releasing their first album in July, with more details to come. Later it was announced that the album was forced back and the new release date is still unknown. The album was shortened into an EP, this was announced August 8, 2013, on the bands soundclick page. The title of the EP is the Rise of the Undead EP. It was also stated that there would be a deluxe addition to the EP and that it was to be released in the upcoming weeks. On August 22, 2013 Carbon Zombies released their debut EP Rise of the Undead. Following its release RDS, a singer/rapper who was featured on the track “Make it a storm” joined Carbon Zombies.
