These are songs to which I have a sentimental attachment for one reason and another.

I Like Bread and Butter I Like Bread and Butter
I remember frantically dancing to this as a kid. I loved the NO NO NO lines and the strange vocal delivery. I completely misunderstood the song though; I thought it was an argument were 'he' loved toast and butter and 'she' loved toast and jam.

Three Rows Over and Two Seats Down Three Rows Over and Two Seats Down
Bobby Curtola is in the Canadian rock hall of fame. His fame for me was that this song was among my brother's tiny collection of 45s. I loved the tune as a kid. The original is very pretty; I threw a bit of dirt at it and altered one line.

Sugar Shack Sugar Shack
My brother George had this song as a 45 single. We also lived at 45 Glenwood, and uninteresting coincidence. Les and I used to spin this for George and his girl, the lovely Marilyn Maxwell. The song was composed by Beulah Faye Voss & Keith McCormack

Hey, Hey, Baby Hey, Hey, Baby
This song was written by Margaret Cobb and Bruce Channel and released in 1961. It made the top 100 and stayed on the charts for some weeks.
Anyone who loves music had songs or instrumentals which influenced him or her, that began the love affair with music. The songs on this page are all songs that have been important to me at different times in my life. How many songs the page contains will depend largely on time. I'm always writing new tracks, so these will occur when they become insistent, or when I'm lacking new song inspiration.
I grew up in Toronto and used to listen to CHUM 1050, long since defunct. The top 50 hits as they came and went had influence for sure. Other songs I learned from my mother. Some of these will likely be from the45 rpm records and LPs owned by my older brother George. Les, my sister, and I used to act as George's DJ while he and Marilyn made out on the couch. I will probably include some of the hymns that I have loved over the years, and perhaps songs from camps. Not sure right now, but we will discover.
I use a variety of instruments. Mostly I use my beautiful Riversong guitar, but I play electric, bass, and (primitive) keys. I use a lot of synths to augment my sound, and the drums are machine or hand produced.
Hope you enjoy these tracks.
