A principio del año 2012 Convicted como Driven by hate surge por la necesidad de comunicar tanto una idea como es la filiación de los seres humanos con la red infinita en la que consiste el universo como empezar a trabajar en la construcción de un sonido conceptual. Sus integrantes en sus inicios Julián Mora Vocalista, Carlos Padilla Batería, Alberto Hernández Guitarra, Alejandro Aldana guitarra, Juan Ricardo Mora Bajo, Brindaron la base para crear lo q es el sonido actual. Luego de varios cambios en su alineación A mediados del año 2013 Luciano Valencia ocupa la vacante de vocalista y sus composiciones y color de voz dan la personalidad y sonido característico de Convicted. Se consolida así su premisa incial: La grandeza del espíritu humano en nuestro limitado mundo.
