Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The Truth is hear. Bang Shop Records is the new wave for Northern California Music. Confadential is representing for everybody who loves this thing we call Hip Hop. Born in East Tampa, Fl, he has traveled these great states and soaked up every kind of cultural experience imaginable. Starting out as a snot nose kid at Thomas Edison Elementary in Tampa Florida, writing poems for kids to give to they girlfriends. Moved to Cali and joined Bay Area rap group Unusual Suspect were he learned how to actually put a songs together as well as learning how to create his own swagger on the mic. 2 members of the Unusual Suspects branched off to form the Unit and dropped their self titled debut album in 1999 and featured Confadential on 6 tracks. Confadential later joined team with best friends Huned and G-Waters to form the Go-Gettaz in 2000. Ripping shows throughout the Bay Area and releasing 3 mixtapes between 2000-2001. The Go Gettaz quickly made a name for themselves in the Bay Area underground scene. Due to unforesceen events, Confadential moved to Sacramento and joined with a local production team call Twiin Theory. Immediately he started recorded tracks which shortly hit the streets in the form of Twiin Theory's debut album "We Luv Radio". Confadential quickly established himself as a reputable emcee throught out the Sacramento area as well as a great stage performer. Unfortanelty Confadential's debut album BangShop Dose 1 was shelfed due to other projects within the Twiin Theory/KingzMen camp. Confadential eventually seperated ties with Twiin Theory/Kingzmen and focused and gettings his debut album"Bang Shop Dose 1" out to the streets, and quickly put the album in the STREETZ and in STORES! The Album Features the club banger "Club Jumpin" and the ladies delight "Whats Ya Name" feat Oniwa. Beat Credit goes to Kingzmen for Live Wire Studios except for "Club Jumpin" which was done by GoldFingaz for Fireworks Records. In addition to finishing his current project, he is also putting out new material with Big Malo, Sin Streetz, Rob Loot, LC, P-Coat PresCott and GoldFingaz. Bang Shop Dose One is what you might call a breath of fresh air for real hiphop. Production credit on the album are from KingzMen. The next project scheduled for release in late fall of 2008 is from the up and coming Street Prophit Sin Streetz. The Album is title Well Rested. Also coming out towards the end of the year is a new mixtape featuring Sin Streetz, Money L, Genghis Khan, Mo-Digga, Big Malo and an all star line up of other Northern California hip hop artist. Confadential is also involved with a Promotion team called Ocean 16, which specializing in youth events and "Grown Folks" activities. Confadential is pioneering a new movement that supports our youth as well as keeps the culture of HipHop alive.
