By Your Side Band

Both artists of this band are huge music fans. Music is our lives, Prophecy has been doing music since he was 13. Mostly hip-hop style tracks but has always loved all music. Jonny Storm started doing music a few years back with a play around group called Caon. One day while the two were sitting together they did a track called "We Get It" over a Jazzy/Soulful Hip-Hop beat about how people seem to throw out individuality and become someone their not just to fit in. We loved the outcome and people loved it. Then Jon started to learn guitar on his own, the idea sparked through Prophecy's mind like wildfire. Why not start a band with nothing but acoustic melodies laced with pure heart driven lyrics both hip-hop and singing. So the birth of the band was here. So we started this Acoustic/Indie/Hip-Hop band that people seem to enjoy because theres a positive vibe to every track. We're trying to make change in the world using music as our key to try to bring pure peace love and united happiness worldwide. We know not all people want to embrace these ideas, but we're willing to die trying. We have a crazy fun wild side that people see in our area and one day hopefully when we go on tour we'll be able to show all the fans worldwide our funny positive sides. But when it comes to our music, we're serious. We do it for the love not the money. We both said we'd be willing to live in a trailor and ride from city to city on a mo-pad as long as we have fans that support our music and come to see us, we'd love every minute of it. We have done gig's at this little place called The Scoop Station in Cambridge, MD and we've done stuff in peoples apartments :-p but we plan on going worldwide touring and any place for that fact! But what the hell does that solve in the end? It is just utterly pointless regardless. I don't care if you hate this persons guts. But lets dig deeper shall we? Think about WHY you hate this person? Really really just think about it for what it is. Is it worth all that trouble and stress? Or is it better just to stay clear of it and rise above silly drama and live YOUR life instead of worrying about someone else. This is a hard concept to grasp when your in high school. Because you are in a bubble. It's not real and the only way you know is to fight fire with fire. But it is our mission to change that. I believe we are on this earth to spread the peace. But not in a "hippie" kind of way. Yes, sometimes you need force to change things, but really you don't. Force is the impatient way to change things because people want instant gratification. The truth is, the longer it takes to complete something the better the outcome will be. It's all about quality no quantity right? I'm sure you all are sick of reading by now because this is longer than 2 sentences and you've got so many other better things you can be doing ...like nothing. On that page i just want to say that the peace sign has came back into the world of fashion and it upsets Eric and I because people that wear this sign aren't part of the movement they are just wearing it because it's on the racks of hot topic or Hollister. This is not a phase for us. This is our goal..and nothing gets in the way of a man and his main goal. Just stay true to yourself people..and don't let an image of judgment get the best of you.
