Broken Minds

We are Broken Minds, a band that fuses Hardcore Punk, Hip-Hop, Metal, Industrial and any other style that we can add into the mixing bowl to get our unique sound. The original idea for Broken Minds surfaced in 1995 but for one reason or another it was hard to get members to commit to anything serious until 2003, when Ben (guitars) entered the scene and this is when the real Broken Minds began. Broken Minds are a three man Rap-core outfit consisting of Ben (Guitars), Paul vocals, Programming) and DJ Moca (Turntables,Production and Additional Vocals). Our style fuses Hard core beats, manic Brit-Core rap and full blown crushing metal guitars. Due to our political lyrical content, D.I.Y. work ethic and originality we feel we have more in common with the underground Punk scene than the current UK Metal or Hardcore scenes. The uncompromising lyrical assault covers many social issues such as the class divide, inner city drug abuse, street violence and other political issues. The machine gun vocal delivery and devastating guitar riffs, over the rhythmically pounding beats makes Broken Minds a formidable force. Broken Minds are also a three man production team who produce engineer and mix all of our own music. http://www.myspace.com/brokenminds666 brokenminds666@yahoo.co.uk http://www.last.fm/music/Broken+Minds.
