Broccoli and the Purple Sky
They are an imaginary band retroactively credited for this collection of demos. Legend has it this was among the last things done on San Gabriel Court.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Broccoli & the Purple Sky was conceived in a park in Riverside, CA in the early '90s. While they planned to write, record and perform for many years, it wasn't until 2019 when these recordings were retrieved from a trailer in rural Montana that they finally got their name on something.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Individuals from the band have performed in front of audiences, often from a sidewalk, and rarely playing any of the material from "Anyone Can Be a Fan". The group's debut performance is still to come.
