Brent Hall - R.E.A.L. Music LLC.
This isnt a random thing; music is my life. quotes Brent Hall, of his independent label, R.E.A.L. Music. No stranger to music, he is also a skilled jazz musician and producer holding a Masters Degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Louisville in Kentucky. My main goal is to create a constant influx of quality music that is relative and accessible to mainstream and underground hip-hop heads alike he says, when speaking of his debut album, Only Child Syndrome. A lot of cats acted like they were scared of my beats, so I opted to do my own thing. My main concern with this project was to display my prowess as both a producer and a wordsmith, and craft realistic subject matter. Not everyone is on cars, clothes, and chains right now. I represent for my peers still caught in the daily struggle of trying to stay positive while dealing with life in general. Such tracks as Nobody Cares About The Diamonds On Your Necklace and Materialistic Sniffers deal with the effects of materialism firsthand. Songs such as Bob and Weave and Sit Back and Enjoy The Show showcase his prowess with words while the Jazz- infused My Horn Tends to do This display his trumpet talents. This is the type of music that needs to be heard right now. And with that, Brent Hall is well on his way to being known as a pioneer.
